Finally, it’s here and I can’t wait to have it. The much awaited and rumoured phone of this season is finally out!! Nexus 6 has been released by Google. Let us see how well did this Google and Motorola combination do to the phone and dwell into the matter : have they created something totally new and amazing or it’s just another big shot phone that turns out to be vain. So let us get into the details of the phone starting with the design.

Nexus 6 has taken a leaf out of Moto X’s (2nd Gen) book for the design. Nexus 6 flaunts a beautiful curved back with Motorola dimple and nexus imprint making it even more desirable. The aluminum decoration is just too good!! Nexus 6 has a body dimension of- 159.26x 82.98 x. 10.06 mm. The design in all is smooth as ever.

Now this something that will going to drop your jaw. Nexus 6 has the largest display among all nexus phones! Nexus 6 has a humongous display of 5.96 inches (this is real big!) and has resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and harbours a pixel density of 493 PPI. It has Q HD display. Galaxy Note 4 here comes a competition. Display is just Amazing in all contexts.

Google Nexus 6 has a 2.7 GHz quad core processor which Is – QUALCOMM SNAPDRAGON 805 PROCESSOR. It has ADRENO 430 GPU. Gamers are going to have one of the great times with this phone. The phone has 3 GB RAM and has an internal storage of 32 GB /64 GB.

13 MP back camera!!! Regardless to say Pictures are going to be great. I can sense the threat to HTC, but then the front camera is just 2 MP. The back camera has a Dual Led Flash. Camera is good in all but the front camera could have been better.

Battery is just one great relief with this phone. Nexus phones already have this fantastic no charging port system. Nexus 6 can work for 6 hours with just 15 minute charge….isn’t this awesome? Now you don’t have to have a phone starving for battery. It has a 3200 mAh battery with talk time of 24 hours and a stand by time of 300 hours. Battery is just perfect. For lazy people like me the phone is one big boon.

This is where Nexus 6 takes a big leap. It is an ANDROID 5.0 LOLIPOP. Android L introduces some wonderful interface to the phone with better colour and vibrant. There is much more about ANDROID Lollipop. For e.g. it has a pop up dialogue box for urgent notifications, you can also check your notifications in lock screen, animations are crazy good. In all, ANDROID 5 EXPERIENCE is going to be breathtaking one.

Nexus 6 with 32GB storage will cost $649 (around Rs. 40000), while the 64GB variant will cost $699 (Rs. 43000 Approx). Although the Indian prices of Nexus 6 are still not confirmed but above mentioned are the official prices of Nexus 6 in US.

Nexus 6 is an amalgam of some really great specs. The details of the phone are very subtle, that is what I personally loved about it. How well did Google blend some wonderful features into Motorola and created a masterpiece is very praiseworthy. I am in awe of this phone especially for the display and hardware. The phone is going to be one good sell this is sure but how much this is yet to be seen. The phone in all has created a new benchmark in Android. I am surely going to grab this one, what about you?
